The Kayarka, as the name suggests, is the product of a “crossing” between a Baidarka and a Kayak.
The Kayarka behaves basically like a Baidarka, it is a boat meant to navigate loaded, with excellent performance in rough water.
The high volume of the boat allows for two large storage compartments, fore and aft. The boat has two other watertight compartments, with air only, that makes the boat unsinkable (unless the hull is destroyed).
The following features are responsible for the seaworthiness and superior performance of the Kayarka in rough water:
Multi-chine hull - More stability and structural rigidity
Large volume at stern - Helps the boat to catch waves and navigate faster while maintaining stability
Accentuated rocker at the bow - Increases maneuverability of the boat and increases safety when surfing big waves

High volume of the boat - provides more buoyancy and allows for large cargo compartments and extra compartments
Large cockpits - Assures easier re-entries in rough water
Apart from the above characteristics, all Kayarkas feature:
Flip up rudders
Recessed deck fittings
Perimeter deck lines
Carrying toggles
Bungies for a paddle-float rescue and for carrying a spare paddle
Backrest
Dimentions - Length 7,0M, width 75CM
Weight - 45KG
